Project Engineer or Scientist
The incumbent will be required to perform research and development in
the area of inorganic materials. Guided by a defined research plan, the
individual is expected to implement the plan and disseminate the results
with limited supervision. The individual is expected to interact effectively
with other scientists and business people within the company and with
customers. The individual will be required to supervise technicians.
- B. S. or higher degree in chemical engineering, material science,
chemistry, or related field
- Laboratory skills and ability to work in teams performing multiple tasks
in parallel
- The ability to plan work / test schedules, write reports, effectively
communicate results
- Occasional customer interactions such as a presentation
- Experience with materials synthesis and characterization a plus
- Experience with catalytic materials a plus
Process Technician
Under general supervision, the successful candidate will work in a team
environment as a process technician. The individual will assist in
synthesizing, formulating, and testing new materials; record and
organize data, write reports, and perform basic data analysis.
- Associates Degree or higher in science or engineering required.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and other computer tools required.
